Cold press juices are made from slowly and steadily squeezing the fruits and vegetables to extract its liquids. How are they different from regular juices?
Most of the juices in the market are just reconstituted concentrated with added sugar! Some of the even just add the peels of the berries for the flavour and the sugar for sweetness!
Cold press juices are the liquids of the fruits and vegetables, as it is. Because of the gentle squeezing process, there is no heat and friction involved. This keeps the nutrient content intact.
Why are they more expensive that the regular juice packs(soft drinks!!)??
Depending on the ingredients, the yield of cold pressed juices is only around 30-50 % That means, typically with our recipes, 1 kg of raw materials will give only 300 ml of juice! This also means, when you consume 1 bottle of our juice, it is equivalent to consuming the nutrient content of around 700-800gms of fruits and vegetables! Can you imagine eating so many fruits and vegetables in one sitting? It is an efficient way of packing in a nutrient rich diet in just a few gulps.
